On September 1, 2024, the Shanghai Grand Theater hosted the premiere of a new interpretation of William Shakespeare’s “Hamlet,” which marked the debut of the first-ever Georgian-Chinese theatrical collaboration. The play was directed by Gocha Kapanadze, with stage design by Lomguli Murusidze.

On August 8, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia, Paata Kalandadze, visited the China-Europe Wine & Spirits Expo held in Langfang, Hebei province. The ambassador addressed the audience at the opening ceremony. The event was held for the first time this year and brought together wine & spirits experts, importers and distributors.

On August 28, 2024, the first session of the Georgia-China bilateral Joint Committee on international road transport was held in Beijing, where the current trends in international land transportation and the prospects of future cooperation between the two countries were discussed.

On August 9-10, 2024, the Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of Georgia, Mr. ​​Mamuka Tsikhelashvili, participated in the International Forum "Xi’an Silk Road International Tourism Expo", which was held in the city of Xi’an (Shaanxi Province). At the event, Mr. Mamuka Tsikhelashvili made a presentation about Georgia's tourism opportunities.
