Discovering Georgia: A Cultural Journey Through the Eyes of Chinese Journalists

The January 2025 issue of the Chinese weekly print and online  publication "Sanlian Lifeweek Magazine" extensively covered Georgia’s cultural and tourist attractions. 

The series of articles published in the magazine introduces Georgia to Chinese readers as a “ Europe's undiscovered culinary treasure,” “the cradle of world wine,” and a unique location that showcases a blend of European and Asian architecture; It narrates the traditions of Georgian wine culture, notable Georgian dishes, famous restaurants, and tourist attractions.

In December 2024, as a result of negotiations held between the embassy and the editorial team of this publication, a group of Chinese journalists visited Georgia to cover Georgian culture and tourist attractions.

"Sanlian Lifeweek Magazine" is one of the largest-circulation weekly publications in China, offering Chinese-language content at a high professional level and boasting a multi-million online subscriber audience.
