Ambassador Meets with CAEDA President

On January 13, 2026, the Ambassador of Georgia to the People’s Republic of China, Paata Kalandadze, held a working meeting with Shunzhi Quan, President of the China-Asia Economic Development Association (CAEDA).

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the dynamics of economic cooperation between the two countries and discussed the importance of CAEDA’s involvement in initiating new investment projects.

The President of the Association expressed readiness to actively promote interest among Chinese business circles in the Georgian market, particularly in the fields of logistics, infrastructure, and trade. The parties also planned joint activities aimed at introducing Georgia’s investment climate to Chinese investors.

CAEDA is a national-level organization operating under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, with the objective of deepening economic and trade ties among Asian countries.
