Georgian Ambassador Signs Agreement on the Establishment of the World AI Cooperation Organization
On July 31, 2026, in Beijing, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the People’s Republic of China, Paata Kalandadze, signed the Agreement on the Establishment of the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization.
The founding ceremony of the Organization was held on July 16, 2026, during which the Agreement was signed by representatives of 29 countries. The ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres. The Agreement remained open for signature until July 31, 2026.
