Georgian pavilions showcased their products at the 2023 CIFTIS in Beijing, the largest exhibition in China for the trade in services industry
The 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) took place in Beijing from September 2 to September 6. This event is the largest exhibition in China for the trade in services industry.
At the initiative of the Embassy of Georgia, Georgian pavilions with more than 10 Georgian companies, including "Chatto Mukhrani," "Sarajishvili," "Tbilghvino," "Rtvelis," "Satavado," "Belt and Road Georgian Business House," "Khareva," "Kakhuri Traditional Winery," "Giorgitsminda" and others were displayed their products at the exhibition and other events within its framework.
Archil Kalandia, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia, participated in the "International Conference on China Food Brands and Sustainable Development" held during an exhibition. In his speech, the Ambassador discussed the increasing popularity of Georgian wine and other products in the Chinese market. He also talked about the participation of Georgian companies in the "CIFTIS" exhibition and the importance of promoting bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
China Central Television (CCTV) and other news media recorded interviews with the Georgian Ambassador, and the Georgian pavilions received extensive coverage.
