Georgian Ambassador Meets with Director General of the International Relations Department of the Chinese Ministry of Transport

On June 4, 2026, at the initiative of the Chinese side, at the Georgian Embassy in Beijing, Ambassador Paata Kalandadze held a meeting with Director General of the International Relations Department of the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Yue Guoyong.

 

During the meeting, the parties in detail discussed the current issues of transport infrastructure development. Particular attention was paid to the prospects for strengthening and further developing the "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route" (Middle Corridor), which will take economic and logistical ties between the two countries to a new level.
