Georgian Ambassador Meets with China-Eurasia Expo Organizers

On April 3, 2025, His Excellency Mr. Paata Kalandadze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia, met with Ms. Yin Shuyan, Deputy Secretary-General of the organizing administration of the “China-Eurasia Commodity and Trade Expo”.

During the meeting, representatives of the Expo administration provided an overview of the upcoming "China-Eurasia Expo 2025," scheduled to take place from June 26 to June 30, 2025, in Urumqi, the capital of China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. They highlighted the event’s potential as a platform for fostering trade and economic exchange across the region.

Ambassador Kalandadze expressed his gratitude for the detailed briefing and underscored his optimism for robust participation by Georgian entrepreneurs at this year’s Expo, building on previous engagements. He emphasized the importance of participation in such Expos in deepening economic ties between Georgia and the People’s Republic of China.

Both parties affirmed their commitment to maintaining close cooperation between the Georgian Embassy and the Expo’s administration.
