A cooperation agreement was signed between Imereti region and Guizhou province

 On September 9, 2024, within the framework of the "International Friendship Cities Cooperation Conference 2024", which was held for the first time in the administrative center of Guizhou province, Guiyang city, the "Agreement on the Establishment of Friendship Region/Province Relationship between the Imereti region of Georgia and the Guizhou province of the People's Republic of China" was signed.

The agreement was signed on the Georgian side by Mr. Besik Gofodze, the Deputy State Representative of Imereti, and on the Chinese side by the Vice-Governor of Guizhou province, Mr. Cai Chaolin.

The Ambassador of Georgia, Mr. Paata Kalandadze attended the ceremony.
