Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Georgia participates in China-CEEC Logistics Conference
On July 3-4, 2025, Mr. Besik Sharashenidze, Minister-Counsellor, represented Georgia at the 5th Conference of Liaison Officers of the China-Central and Eastern Europe (China-CEEC) Logistics Cooperation Secretariat in Beijing.
Hosted by the China-CEEC Secretariat, China’s Ministry of Transport, and the Sichuan Provincial Government, the conference focused on deepening logistics cooperation and strengthening supply chains.
Minister-Counsellor addressed the conference and highlighted Georgia’s strategic role as a bridge between Europe and Asia, particularly through the "Middle Corridor." He emphasized the transformative potential of the planned Anaklia deep-water port on the Black Sea and the newly operational Tbilisi dry port in bolstering regional transport connectivity.
