Georgian Ambassador had a meeting with Delegation from Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province

On May 24, 2025, Georgian Ambassador Paata Kalandadze held a meeting with a 10-member delegation from Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province at the Embassy. The delegation was led by Zhang Haolong, Secretary of the Tuanzhou (Zhaoqing) District Committee of the Communist Party of China.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the establishment of a house-museum in Zhaoqing City of the Chinese tea expert Liu Zun Zhou, who  introduced tea to Georgia. It should be emphasized that Liu Zun Zhou was originally from Zhaoqing.

The discussion also touched on the development of economic and cultural cooperation between Georgia and Zhaoqing. Special attention was paid to cooperation in the field of tourism.
