For the first time at the Shanghai International Film Festival

On June 14, 2024, the Shanghai International Film Festival opened, which is the largest film industry forum in China and Asia. The Shanghai International Film Festival began in 1993. This festival is the only Chinese festival accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF).

It is good that the stand of the Georgian film industry was presented for the first time at this year's film festival. The Georgian delegation, headed by the Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports of Georgia, Mr. K. Khubunaia, brings together well-known representatives of Georgian film art.

On June 17, 2024, the Ambassador of Georgia, Paata Kalandadze visited the Shanghai International Film Festival, during which he visited the Georgian stand of the festival and held a meeting with the representatives of the Georgian delegation.
