Meeting with representatives of China National Oil and Gas Research and Development Company

On August 6, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia, Mr. Paata Kalandadze met with the Vice President of China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Company Ltd., Mr. Pu Haiyang.

At the meeting, perspectives of cooperation of the company with Georgia were discussed.

National Oil and Gas Research and Development Company is a subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). "CNPC" is the world's largest oil and gas producing and supplying company, which is the first in the Chinese market, and ranks 3rd among the world's 50 largest oil corporations. CNPC has invested and implemented 90 projects in 30 countries of the world. In addition, the company is involved in engineering and construction and oil extraction works, both throughout China and abroad.
