Georgian Ambassador Hosts Delegation from China National Research Institute of Food and Fermentation Industries

On October 29, 2026, Paata Kalandadze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the People's Republic of China, hosted a delegation from China National Research Institute of Food and Fermentation Industries at the Embassy. The delegation was led by Peng Hao, Director of the Institute’s International Cooperation Department.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current status of and challenges facing the distribution of Georgian wine in the Chinese market. They also outlined an updated plan for promoting Georgian wine and agreed to continue their coordinated efforts in this regard.
