Georgian Ambassador Hosts Georgian Language Students from Beijing Foreign Studies University at the Embassy
On April 10, 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia Paata Kalandadze hosted a group of Georgian language students from the Beijing Foreign Studies University at the Embassy, led by Bo Yuan, Director of the Georgian Language Teaching and Research Office of the Asian School of the same university, Georgian language teacher.
At the meeting, the Georgian Ambassador spoke about the importance of Georgia-China relations and, in this context, emphasized the importance of studying Georgian and Chinese languages by young people from both countries. The students performed the Georgian song “Firefly” and a short performance dedicated to the work of the immortal Georgian poet Galaktion Tabidze. The guests were given the opportunity to taste Georgian sweets and each of them was presented with a commemorative souvenir.
The Ambassador and Bo Yuan determined the next steps in the cooperation between the Embassy and the aforementioned educational institution.
