Georgian Embassy Representatives Attend World Culture Carnival at Beijing Language and Culture University

On April 26, 2025, representatives of the Georgian Embassy in the People’s Republic of China attended the opening ceremony and subsequent cultural event of the “20th World Culture Carnival” held at Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU).

The World Culture Carnival, which has been held since 2003, is one of the University’s most important and large-scale cultural events. This year’s event was held under the theme “Break the Time Bonds, Waltz the World at BLCU” and included cultural pavilions from various countries, a procession of students dressed in traditional national costumes, and creative performances. More than 40,000 people attended the event.

Georgian students from Beijing Language and Culture University participated in the event, setting up a Georgian stand and actively participating in the cultural program. They adequately presented Georgian culture and traditions, and the Georgian corner was particularly popular with the audience.
