Visit to "China National Oil Corporation"

On July 9, 2024, Minister Counsellor of  the Georgian Embassy, ​​Mr. Mamuka Tsikhelashvili, took part in the business tour "Ambassadors face to face with the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC)" organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.

Within the framework of the business tour, CNPC Chairman, Mr. Dai Houliang gave a welcome speech to the guests, and the company's Vice President, Mr. Chang Daowei made a short presentation on CNPC's activities, current projects and future plans. The participants of the event visited the subsidiaries of the mentioned company – “Beijing Petroleum Machine Co Ltd”; “Kunlun Digital Technology Co Ltd”.

"China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC)" is the world's largest oil and gas production and supply company, which is the first in the Chinese market, and ranks 3rd among the world's 50 largest oil corporations. CNPC has invested and implemented 90 projects in 30 countries of the world. In addition, the company is engaged in engineering - construction and oil extraction works in 80 countries of the world, which is provided by 1200 employees of the company. The company has large representative offices in in London and in Houston. CNPC's financial assets are 1 trillion yuan ($150.9 billion), and the company's net profit in 2023 is 195 billion ($27.8 billion) yuan.
