The showcase of the collection 'IRAKLI Prance and Zarapkhana 1939' at Beijing Fashion Week

The showcase of the collection "IRAKLI Prance and Zarapkhana 1939" ended the Beijing Fashion Week on March 24, 2025. The participation of France-based Georgian designer Irakli Nasidze, became a highlighted event during the Beijing Fashion Week.

The showcase of the Fall/Winter 2025 collection featured the artist's haute couture garments, accessories specially created for the renowned Georgian jewelry company "Zarapkhana 1939," and bronze and ceramic works made in collaboration with his Chinese artist wife, Qiao Qi. It is noteworthy that Irakli Nasidze has been the creative director of the company 'Zarapkhana 1939' since 2024.

The event, held from March 19 to 24, 2025, at Beijing's "WangFu" center, was attended by official representatives from the Beijing government, figures from the fashion industry, as well as employees from the Georgian Embassy. Notable Chinese brands such as "AM/JASMINE," "AÍMER," and designers from other countries participated in the week.

Irakli Nasidze's collection received extensive coverage in Chinese media:

The "Beijing Fashion Week" has been functioning as an international fashion platform since 2012. Its history dates back to 2005, when the "Beijing Garment and Textile Association" established the "Beijing Fashion Night."
