Georgian Ambassador Participates in International Conference on Artificial Intelligence

On July 17-18, 2026, a Georgian delegation, led by the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mariam Kvrivishvili, participated in the “World AI Conference & High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance” in Shanghai. The Georgian delegation also included the Ambassador of Georgia to the People’s Republic of China, Paata Kalandadze.

It is noteworthy that the event, which was attended by high-ranking representatives of more than 100 states, international organizations, and the private sector, was opened by the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping.
