Georgian Ambassador Attends Meeting Organized by Xinjiang-Uyghur Autonomous Region of China

On March 31, 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia, Paata Kalandadze, at the invitation of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, attended a special event held for representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in China.

At the event, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Chen Xiaotung delivered a welcoming speech to the Ambassadors and noted that the central government pays great attention to the development of the Xinjiang region. During the same event, the Governor of the People's Government of the Xinjiang-Uyghur Autonomous Region, Erkin Tunyaz, briefed the attendees on the development of the region in recent years.
