Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia met with the Representatives of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade
On April 2, 2025, H.E. Mr. Paata Kalandadze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia, met with Mr. Guo Peidong, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Relations at the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).
Founded in 1952, CCPIT is China’s leading organization dedicated to fostering international trade and investment. Through its affiliated China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), it represents over 300 000 Chinese companies.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed strategies to enhance the presence of Georgian businesses in the Chinese market, strengthen business-to-business (B2B) ties between the two nations, and encourage greater investment by Chinese firms in Georgia.
Both parties affirmed their commitment to maintaining close collaboration between the Embassy and CCPIT.
